Ecuador (1956- )
Participated CP 1996 Aguirre studied at the studio of Eduardo Serna in Buenos Aires, the Central University in Quito, and the Advanced School for Art in Berlin. His work is figurative, with references to classical expressionism. It treats the topic of contemporary mans solitude, touching on his dissolute and marginal vices. In his project at the Experimental Workshop, he juggled the available resources to create a theatrical universe, an exacerbated world where his models represented the Seven Capital Sins. Aguirre placed the emphasis on emotionality through the use of color, acting and set designs. |
