Gabler studied Architecture at the Catholic University in Valparaiso; Design at the University of Chile in Valparaiso; and Architecture at the University of Chile in Santiago. His work considers the limits of language and its fragility when asked to capture reality. He gathers materials, images, and texts which he later recontextualizes for his pictorial, graphic or installation works, achieving a reconstruction of the fragments that permits multiple readings. At the Experimental Workshop, he applied a variety of printmaking techniques to the bodies of his models.
