Chile (1938- )
Participated CP 1993 Bernal Ponce studied Architecture at the University of Chile, and Drawing and Engraving at the School of Fine Art in Viña del Mar and at Taller 99 in Santiago. He continued his preparation in Paris at Atelier 17 and the School of Fine Art, and in the United States at the Mission Graphic Center in San Francisco. In 1974 he settled in Costa Rica, where he taught at the University of Costa Rica. The outstanding characteristics of his work are the use of line and bright colors. He concentrates on urban themescities and their architecture. He transferred these images to the body of his model at the Experimental Workshop. |
