Participated 1998 Banderas studied Art at the University of Chile; Drawing and Painting at the Taller 619; Corporal Expression at the Teatro Sociedad Anónima; and Taxidermy at the National Museum of Natural History. His early work evolved into an expressionist style. He then experimented with different organic materials, such as the skins of animals. Becerros work then moved into the territory of installations, incorporating painting with embalmed animals. At the Experimental Workshop, he sought to represent the way an individual and an animal tend to mimic one and other in appearance and attitude. |
